While Albion’s Magnesium Glycinate goes through a complex chelation process to create quality and consistency, other brands simply combine magnesium oxide with glycine and rice powder to create their magnesium glycinate. This causes an issue as the glycine is unable to covalently bond with magnesium. A strong bond is important for magnesium and glycine because of its ability to survive the stomach environment.
