Undenatured Type II Collagen (UC-II®)

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, primarily occurring in the skin, bones and connective tissues. There are various different types of collagen, each with different structures and functions. In the body, type II collagen is an integral component of articular cartilage. UC-II® collagen is a novel, undenatured type II collagen derived from chicken cartilage.

Supplementation with UC-II® has been shown to support joint health, range of motion of the knee joint, and comfortable joint movement.† This effect is temporary in nature, requiring oral administration on an ongoing basis in order to maintain the benefit. There are no major food sources of UC-II® collagen, so you must get it from supplements such as Osteo Bi-Flex® Ease.

5-LOXIN® Advanced

Boswellia serrata is a tree that produces a highly scented sap that has been a prized substance since ancient times. 5-LOXIN® Advanced is a unique Boswellia serrata extract that contains boswellic acids. Most importantly, 5-LOXIN® Advanced contains high concentrations of the important boswellic acid, AKBA that helps with occasional joint flare-ups.†

5-Loxin® Advanced shows improved joint comfort within 7 days.† This is based on two human studies with 5-Loxin® Advanced where subjects rated their joint health over time, subjects’ joint health improved within 7 days and continued to improve throughout the duration of the studies. Vitamin D

Osteo Bi-Flex® Ease also provides 10 mcg (400 IU) of Vitamin D to support bone health.† Vitamin D helps develop strong bones and teeth by enhancing the absorption of calcium and phosphorus.† Natural food sources of vitamin D are limited and include cod liver oil, liver, some species of fatty fish, and egg yolks. While our bodies are capable of synthesizing this important vitamin, use of sunscreen inhibits vitamin D synthesis and production may be limited in northern climates, especially during the winter months.

Directions for Adult Use: Take one (1) tablet per day preferably with food. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications you take with your health care providers.
