How Does It Work?
Pepto Bismol Ultra Strength, Original Flavor, Triple Pack uses 525 milligrams of bismuth subsalicylate to provide you and your stomach relief. Bismuth subsalicylate is tough to pronounce and it's even tougher on upset stomachs.
Should I Use Pepto Bismol Ultra Strength?
Be sure not to use Pepto Bismol Ultra Strength if you have a stomach ulcer, a bleeding problem or black or bloody stool. Any of those symptoms should prompt you to consult your physician. However, if you are already enjoying the relief of original flavor Pepto Bismol, you may experience a temporary darkening of the stool and/or tongue. Also, consult your physician before your use if you have a fever or mucus in your stool. Stop using Pepto Bismol Ultra Strength and see your physician if your symptoms worsen and last for more than two days.
Directions
Your Pepto Bismol dosage is provided by the dose cup that comes with the Pepto Bismol Ultra Strength, Original Flavor, Triple Pack. Before using, shake the bottle well. If you are experiencing diarrhea, then take one 15 mL dose every half hour, or one 30 mL dose every hour as needed. If you're experiencing upset stomach, indigestion or heartburn, then take one 15 mL dose every half hour as needed.
